Graha Pravesham, also known as Griha Pravesh or Grihapravesham, is the traditional Hindu ritual performed before entering and living in a new home. This ceremony purifies the space, removes negative vibrations, and invites divine blessings for prosperity, health, and harmony. It marks the sacred beginning of life in a newly constructed or newly purchased house.
The English name for this ritual is House Warming, and in Tamil it is widely known as Veedu Paalkaasuthal or Veedu Piravesam.
